However, is this type of reporting enough to keep them afloat? Today, in this economy even the largest newspapers in the country are struggling. They are losing readers and advertisers everyday. As you may have heard, the OC Register is also in deep financial trouble. Their problem, in part, is a conventional business model that has not taken the digital world seriously. Today, readers go online to access news and articles for instant gratification. It is also much easier to read multiple publications online and save millions of trees in the process.
